Kilkerran Glengyle Distillery’s Cask Strength 8 year old single malt Scotch is a lightly peated masterpiece full of rich decadence and sublime craftsmanship. Kilkerran Cask Strength 8 is aged a minimum of 8 years in re-charred Oloroso sherry casks to a finished cask strength of 116.2% proof. This rare premium whiskey contains an undisclosed mash bill and features aromatic notes of sweet sherry and figs over layers of juicy dried grapes, roasted nuts, and caramel seasoned with spice. The palate is warmly hued with cherries, toasted spice, and hints of wet, earthy peat.
