Alexander Murray Speyside 40 Year Old 1972 & Rocks Glass with Ice Ball
Named for its location bordering the River Spey, Speyside is the true heart of Scotch Whisky production. Each whisky region has its own defining characteristics and Speyside Single Malts tend to be slightly sweet and a little bit peaty with floral notes. Alexander Murray’s 40 year Speyside Single Malt is quite characteristic of the region. It was distilled in 1972 and aged in oak casks for 40 years. The On the Rock Glass with Ice Ball is a new way to enjoy “on the rocks”. The bottom of The Rock Glass is specially designed to create a natural liquid motion increasing the nosing of aromas. The shape of the glass makes rolling easy without spilling. The 2″ Ice Ball is a silicone mould that forms a solid ice ball that outlasts traditional ice cubes.
